Colé van Dais (pronounced Colay van day) is an independent South African artist (Singer/songwriter, presenter and actress) who has been performing original and cover songs for the past 15 years at corporate functions, music festivals, theatres and other events worldwide.

She has collaborated with top local and international artists including Katrina and the waves (USA), Marc Rantseli (SA), The Jorans (Latvia) and Tsakana Chabana/ Lia (daugther of the late Minister Collins Chabane), Gbenga Adunega (Nigeria), Keith Macfarlane (UK from the group ‘Seven’) and Organ Prawang (Thailand) on her new duet album.

With her beautiful unique voice and vibrant stage presence Colé sings popular covers and some original songs. She covers a wide repertoire of hit songs from oldies to current hits in adult contemporary, pop, rock and some dance and jazz tracks too.

Colé has her own distinctive way of connecting with her audience through her passion and energy taking them on an emotional journey of sadness to happiness, pain to joy, through the essence of music. Her aim is to provide great entertainment and and engage her audience to the point where they want to participate in the show, leaving them feeling great and wanting more!

Other than a variety show of music, Cole also offers the option of fully outfitted tribute shows of The James Bond Golden Hits tribute, Madonna, ABBA or 80s show.

Colé has had an exciting international career, performing in Musical theatre productions in UK, singing at hotel groups and resorts in UK, the Mediterranean Islands, Isle of Skype, Seychelles, and recently she was the first South African artist to ever be booked as a guest artist at The Eurovision song contest where she performed for over a week in Copenhagen, Denmark.
She surprised the Danish audience by singing the previous year’s winning song in Danish, as well as other songs in Afrikaans, German, Spanish and Tsonga in the same production show at the VEGA Euro club as the entrants from 39 countries.
This gave her tremendous international exposure as she performed on the same stage as Conchita Wurst (Austria), Basim (Denmark), Sanna Nielsen (Sweden), to name a few.

Her previous performances include performing at most of the festivals in SA and doing school tours as part of the KTV roadshow with girl band ‘Simply Irresistable’, touring all the major festivals in Namibia, performing at festivals in London including Ukkasie festival, The Nottinghill carnival (biggest street fair in Europe) and the Earlscourt festival.

She also toured holiday resorts (Park and Haven) and venues in England and Scotland including The Edinburgh festival, Bristol festival and regularly performed at Pizza on the Park (Hyde park, London). She has performed on the same stage as Mango Groove, Village people, Peter Strycher (Freddie Mercury from Queen’s partner), Malaika, and many more including most of the SA stars.

In UK she studied ‘Rock, pop & soul singing’ and City Lit, in Holborn and went on to get lead role in the hit musical, ‘Grease’, which toured Scotland.

She presented an alternative health talk TV show, ‘Mind, body spirit’, on SKY TV which had over 1 million viewers, and acted as Prince Harry’s girlfriend in the ITV documentary, ‘Prince Harry laid bare’.

She recently performed as guest artist in the well-known Afrikaans TV show, Noot vir Noot and launched her first Afrikaans CD, ‘Daai tipe meisie’ (after her number one hit song), after living and touring abroad for many years.

She has also recorded a full cover album, ‘The James Bond Golden hits tribute’, ‘All the things’, some singles and her new international duet album ‘Colé & friends’ are all available at all the major online stores worldwide.
